I am honored to serve as the President to the Board of Directors of The Foundation @ FCOE. As a member of the Foundation from the early beginnings, it is gratifying to see how far we have come and how wide our impact is today.
As the fundraising arm of the Office of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, the Foundation is credited with strengthening programs that support equity and access, early care and education, health services, students with special needs, foster and homeless youth, and students in court and community schools.
The Foundation has been instrumental in building the capacity of arts programs and career technical education in Fresno County schools and increasing business-education partnerships to support academic student events including the Fresno County Spell-Off, Young Author’s Faire, Academic Decathlon, Mock Trial, College Night, Career Skills Challenge, and many more.
All these opportunities draw on the unique interests, skills and abilities of students to help them reach their full potential. Our impact relies on the investments made by generous contributors and the partnerships we forge. Please join me and Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Michele Cantwell-Copher, in supporting The Foundation @ FCOE and our work to protect the bright futures of Fresno County students.
