On April 13, 2018, The Foundation @ FCOE proudly presents heARTbeat featuring VIVO. VIVO is a jolt to the senses. Handcrafted by violinist Patrick Contreras, choreographer Jasmin la Caris, and guitarist Omar Nare, VIVO exists at the intersection of modern and traditional. Mixing performance art, mariachi, modern violin, rock, and acoustic, the trio tells a familiar story in a truly soul-shaking way, evocative of the Mexican-American identity and the Central Valley's unmatched culture. All proceeds will support the arts in Fresno County schools and the Spark! initiative.
The event will be held at Moravia Winery 3620 N Bishop Avenue in Fresno, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy hors d’ouevres as they peruse the silent auction of local art. An evening of Spanish flamenco dance and an authentic three-course meal in an atmosphere of European elegance all to provide the students of Fresno County schools greater access to an arts-rich education. A live auction will keep the evening exciting. Dress is cocktail or garden party festive. Parking attendants available. This is a 21 and over event.
