Career Skills Challenge
The Career Skills Challenge was held this month with exciting student competitions. This is a hands-on, career-focused event involving 40 competitions in diverse vocations such as medical terminology, welding, crime scene investigation and sports medicine.
Nearly 1,300 high school students from more than 30 high schools in Fresno, Madera, and Mariposa counties participate yearly in this intense competition. Congratulations to the following division winners: Yosemite Division - Bullard High School, Sequoia Division - Kerman High School, and Sierra Division - Career Technical Education Charter High School. The winner of the Grand Champion trophy also went to Career Technical Education Charter High School. The Career Skills Challenge is proudly sponsored in part by our education partner Chevron.
