Delbert "Del" Cederquist Scholarship Awards
On behalf of the Cederquist family, The Foundation @ FCOE was honored to present the Delbert “Del” Cederquist Scholarships to two CTEC High School students, Savannah Romero and Ruby Miranda. Savannah plans to attend UC Davis to pursue a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering and Ruby will be attending Fresno Pacific University to pursue a degree in psychology.
The Delbert Cederquist Memorial Scholarship Fund provides student scholarships to graduating seniors of Career Technical Education Charter High School. Del was a Fresno native and local farmer since the age of 18 who served the education community for many years. Del served as a school board member for 65 years, including his service from 1994-2018 to the Fresno County Board of Education. He had an unwavering passion for education and through his leadership as a board member Del was dedicated to serving Fresno County students.
