Congratulations Nia Palmer for being selected as the first-ever recipient of the Jim A. Yovino | Students of Promise Scholarship. Nia has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and leadership abilities, and exceptional dedication to her personal growth.
Nia will be attending San Diego State University after graduating from Clovis North High School to pursue a kinesiology major. Her ultimate aspiration is to become a cardiologist. The the Jim A. Yovino | Students of Promise Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship that will be offered every year. The 2023-2024 application process will open March 1, 2024.
