Innovation Grant Proposal

Proposals are now being accepted for the 2023 Innovation Grant cycle. This opportunity is open to all Fresno County public schools. The deadline to apply is Friday, September 22, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.

Eligibility and Guidelines

This is a competitive process. Grants are available annually. Grants must be of exceptional merit. Further:

  • All grant proposals must be submitted online.
  • Grants for project ideas should be solicited from principals, teachers, students, parents and other community members in all Fresno County public schools.One proposal from each school district will be awarded.
  • Applicants are responsible for obtaining approval from site principal, district superintendent and/or other applicable supervisor prior to submission.
  • All proposals may be subject to interview for clarification purposes by the review committee.
  • All grant recipients must acknowledge in writing the following: (1) that all persons working on any project(s) which receives grant funds have fingerprint clearance, TB testing, etc.; (2) that the district has sufficient liability and workers compensation insurance coverage; and (3) that the District agrees to hold harmless The Foundation @ FCOE for any negligence or willful misconduct relating to any project(s) which receives grant funds.
  • Funding for personnel salaries and individual student scholarships will not be considered.
